Hallo Berlin rest.

Thinking of going to Hallo Berlin on 10ave and didn't find many recommendations (apart from general beer+sausages) in search.
Are their dinner platter (pork chops, schnitzels, etc.) good or should I stick to sausages (which ones)?
Also does anyone know if Oktoberfest is still on? Which beers are worth trying and what about their spiced wine?

Stick with sausage and beer. They do those well.

Stick with the sausages at Hallo Berlin. I love the bratwurst sandwich.

I liked HB but it was sort of dead when we went...have you been to Zum Schneider on Ave C? Much more festive, decent food.

I love Hallo Berlin!! Their potatoes and sausages are fantastic. Their "democracy special" (including sausages, meatballs, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and potatoes) is my new addiction.

It's an okay restaurant. The food is decent enough. The beer's cold I believe most of the meats and sausages they carry are from Schaller and Weber.
