What is fresh in Chinatown?

Cooking up some chinese food tonight and want to make some fresh seasonal chinese veggies. I'll be wandering through Chinatown on my way home from work ... any tips on what vegetables are fresh and yummy right now?

just as a follow up in case anyone is interested. stopping by the groceries on east broadway yesterday, the hollow stemmed vegetables were pretty popular amongst those that appeared to know. stir-fried last night with some garlic and ginger was pretty tasty.

Hollow stems? It probably was water spinach. Usually I stir-fry it until tender with oil, crushed garlic cloves, salt and many cubes of Chinese fermented bean paste. The bean paste is an acquired taste of course.
