Restaurants that take reservations for large groups only

jsgjewels Oct 15, 2007 12:24 PM

As I recall this is pretty common, but I can't seem to come up with a good list. I'm looking for good places that take reservations for groups of 5+ only. Location, cuisine, etc don't matter.

A couple to start: Freemans, Tia Pol....

Blue Ribbon Bakery accepts for parties of 5+ and the food is consistently good with a large menu to please all.

      Same for Blue Ribbon Brasserie.

Add to the list: Momofuku Ssam Bar. Boqueria? Lupa, I think.

Check out opentable.com. They're doing large party reservations now.

I'm aware that they do, but I'm looking for places that only take reservations for large groups, these are not usually on opentable in the first place. I figure if you're doing a dinner for a group it would be a good time to take advantage of one of these places.
