Rock 'N Fish Review

My date and I ended up at Rock ‘N Fish for dinner last night in Manhattan Beach. We sat in the patio area vs. the dining room (good choice since the patio was quieter). They first served us some warm bread, it was really good and very soft. Excellent crust on it too! I had the beef tenderloin skewers and my date ordered the fish and chips. I loved my meal, the meat was fantastic and they were generous with the portions, I took half of it home for leftovers today. My date liked the fish but the fries were too thin and crunchy. Service was decent but I probably won’t be back simply because it was overpriced for what we got. Fish and Chips were $18.95! I might go back for lunch if I happen to be in the area, assuming the lunch menu is cheaper. I had no complaints about the food though.

I love Rock 'N Fish. I've been there a few times, but I only go for special occasions or if someone else is buying. It's a bit pricey to go on a regular basis. I've tried several of their fish dishes, chowder, salads, etc and have never been disappointed. I especially like their oak-grilled vegetables and creme brulee.

    Thanks for posting a review!
