The Chron reports that "fresh sausages are already making their way to stores via Cheeseworks East and West and Tomales Bay Foods."

Those are wholesalers. Anybody seen them retail outside of Point Reyes Station?

Our purveyor up here in Portland, OR, Provvista Specialty Foods gave us a couple of samples..their classic & spicey Italian sausages....very nice flavors, very well balanced & we thought an extremely decent price (wholesale that is). Cannot wait for the salumi & salame products.....it's crazy how everyone wants in the Cured meats world these days

I got the spicy italian sausage yesterday at Golden Produce (Church & Market, SF). Extraordinarily delicious: an almost smoky flavor and a rough chewy texture.
