Your favorite hamburger recipe, all out and healthy versions.

Hello. Just looking for new recipes to try...
When we're in the mood, I usually use my versions of bobby flay's grilled or father's office recipe.
BF: ground chuck, cheddar cheese, vidalia onions, romaine lettuce, tomato, horse radish mustand, roll
FO: ground chuck, caramelized onions, blue cheese, gruyere cheese, arugula, french baguette. (original recipe calls for ground strip and rib eye steak)
Any great recipes you can share would be great esp if you also have a healthy version. TIA.

  1. One of my favourite recipes this summer was a double pork/double cheese burger from Food & Wine mag. Chopped bacon, ground pork, garlic, thyme, s/p on a ciabatta bun topped with some grilled red onion and Camembert and Gorgonzola cheeses.

    1. Our favorite burger is ground buffalo meat. I sautee onions, 1/2 green bell pepper minced, 1 jalepeno minced, and minced garlic, S & P.... incorporate half of that mixture into the ground meat. Typically I make 4 patties, sear one side on the grill pan, flip and add a slice of Gruyere or Swiss cheese and cook till cooked through but not dry. The remaining onion mixture gets put on the bun with the burger. TJ's ketsup is the condiment... very tasty and juicy!
