Hip *and* Good food. Dinner for 4. I want the food to be terrific. My friend's priority is that it is trendy/hip. West side preferred or UES.

    Try Centolire at 1167 Madison Ave. (around 84th and near the Met Museum)
    It's trendy as all get out and the food is fine.

      You could eat at the Maritime, Stanton Social, Pastis or Del Posto. Maybe do tia pol first then Cookshop?
