I love Pecan pie and it is probably my favorite pie. Not chocolate pecan pie but the real thing. Really gooey and syrupy. Does anyone have a favorite place in the Boston area?

Another important question: where can one find it served at room temperature, or even slightly chilled? There is nothing more aggravating than ordering pecan pie and discovering that some idiot has stuck it in the microwave.

The Silver Palate has a great recipe if you decide to make one at home.

I assume it means Newburyport. Wonderful and charming town but not close to Boston.

Scarlet Oak Tavern, but that's way down in Hingham.

I've seen it at Petsi's but it has chocolate in it. I haven't tried it because I prefer pecan pie without the chocolate.

Yeah! Petsy's pecan pie is traditional and addictive.
