        <content>Need recommendations for a compact microwave.  We only use it to reheat &amp; defrost, so don't meed anything fancy.  Anyone have a favorite?</content>

it's .7 cu feet.  I've had it about 6 months and it's great.  Does everything you need and is quite small compared to other microwaves I've owned.  And, on the website I linked to, free shipping (though I'm sure you could get that on Amazon if they have the model.)</content>

      <content>We just bought the same GE model that ccbweb suggests; we've had it about 2 months and it works fine.  It replaced an 19 year old GE that had finally failed.  Main reasons we bought this model is it fit the space in the cabinetry where our last one was.  But, we also were inclined to buy another GE, given the experience we'd had with the last one.</content>
