Hello all - looking for the best korean bbq restaurant in K-town. Any suggestions? thanks!

This is debatable, and I get different answers from different (Korean) friends. Kun Jip seems to get the highest vote, though.

If Kun Jip is the place I'm thinking of, there's always a line of people on the sidewalk waiting for a table. I went there once and the food was indeed the best on the block.

A couple of years ago we had a fabulous meal upstairs at Kang Suh (Broadway and 32nd St). They were open 24 hours a day I recall.

for straight bbq go to chung moo ro, ny komtang or woo chun (on 36th).

        - chung moo ro is probably the most consistent and best across the board (also have good pan chan)
        - NY komtang is on the southside of 32nd; its a bbq specialist and they use charcoal
        - woo chun is on 36th bet 5th and bway, regular food is horrible, but the kalbi is very good (get the woo chun special its the best cut of kalbi)

The rest of the places are very mediocre
