Do the chefs competing have to fix plates for each judge by the time limit? I only see them plating one (demo) frantically. How much real time elapses between the cooking of that first set of plates (i.e., one of each dish they will be presenting for judgment) and then serving judges and decision? Any other inside dish on show logistics?

THey just did a show on the behind the scenes working of the FN the other night - I'm sure it'll be repeated ad nauseum - but they did show that the chefs have a 45 minute period (after the initial one hour) in which to prepare the plates for the judges.

youngho, core demographic for "FN": age 18-49 males? i typically like wiki, but that demographic sounds suspicious.

The point is that the show draws more of that demographic than other FN shows draw. And the 18-49 male demo is a core one for advertisers.
