Where to get Dutch Crunch Bread in LA?

I grew up in San Francisco and in any deli out there you can get a sandwich made with Dutch Crunch Bread. Out here in LA this seems to not exist? Anyone know where to get a good sandwich with Dutch Crunch Bread in LA?????

  1. Is there still the Dutch American bakery in Atwater Village? There's also a huge Dutch bakery in Artesia, the Arteisa Bakery on 18627 Pioneer Blvd.

What is Dutch Crunch bread? Is it like Tijgerbrood? Neither of those places appear to have it on their online menu, and seem to carry mostly Danish stuff.

**Edit - Google reveals that Dutch Crunch Bread and Tijgerbrood are one and the same.

      2. They don't make sandwiches but you can get the bread at Martino's Bakery in Burbank.

I think Martino's is on Victory now.

        2. Togo's has it as one of their breads. Don't know that you'd say it's good, but they do make sandwiches on what they call dutch crunch bread.
