Hemsin closed?

Does anyone know if Hemsin, the Turkish restaurant on Queens Blvd. in Sunnyside, has closed?
thanks!

I live a couple of blocks away. The new sign has gone up: Marmara Grill (or seafood grill; I can't remember). So it would appear that grilled fish (and maybe seafood, too) is on the menu. Let's hope they do as good a job of it as Hemsin did with the first restaurant. Does anyone know if it's the same ownership?

yes, it has been for a few weeks now. it looks like they are tearing up the inside and renovating. i do recall seeing signs posted on the windows mentioning a seafood restaurant coming in next.

Sad!! Turkish choices are dwindling in Sunnyside.
        Thanks for the info.

turkish grill and mangal kebab are still around.

i also noticed that the 99 cents sunnyside pizza and grill on the corner of 43rd and QB (north), which has been boarded up forever, has started some renovation lately, too. i wonder what's going on there.

and though not turkish - has anyone else noticed that the cheesesteak factory now has become sal's again? it's got a pizzeria sign up now with the italian flag as the color motif.

Actually, it's going to be a Turkish seafood restaurant. I talked to a guy who was doing the renovation and that was what he told me.
