Pumpkin Pie Crust

I want to make a homemade pumpkin pie, but I think I prefer a graham cracker crust to a regular pie crust. Does that go well with pumpkin pie, or am I being misguided?

With those great crispy ginger snaps they have at Williams-Sonoma.

I adore graham cracker crusts with custardy pies. Go for it. But I like the idea of a gingersnap one even more.

I would do one with ginger snap crumbs!

I made one with graham crackers mixed with ground-up pumpkin seeds once, which was very good. Wish I could remember where I got that recipe from....

Sounds great to me too - maybe you could add some ground pecans or spices to the crust as well!

Sounds like a fine combo to me.
