Rendezvous, Turners Falls MA?

I haven't seen a review of the Rendezvous in Turners Falls, MA since it was renovated; has anyone been? I would like to try it but need to convince some family members....

  1. Yep, I've been! The old place was pretty scary. It's been totally renovated, lots of beer options, interesting wine list. Good jukebox. No blender. I had a steak tips sandwich with roasted potatoes, the most expensive thing on the menu at $11.95. Quite tasty. It was a good mix of people when we were there (late afternoon on a Saturday) -- if we lived closer to TF we'd be there much more often. Follow up if you manage to convince the fam to go?

    1. We just went for the first time tonight. Their menu is online now (I think that's very recent) at

I had sides instead of a meal: roasted potatoes (oven fries--$3) were really good, with garlic aioli. Green beans with garlic and...I think ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil? ($3) were delicious. I also got a curried carrot salad with raisins and nuts ($3) that was kinda heavy on the mayo--it was OK. My boyfriend got a chicken, pesto & mushroom pizza ($9) that was very good. The panini all looked good and are $6 and up. The beer list is indeed humongous. All in all it was great and I'll definitely be back.

Love the aioli. I was there the night before you, they've added a cheeseburger special to the menu but I went back to my tenderloin sandwich. Also had roasted asparagus (with said aioli). I've sampled the potstickers and those are also good.
