      <content>The radio show I do some work for 'Earthbeat' on WPFW did an entire show about this topic back in June. 

We couldn't find a French winemaker by deadline, but my favorite part was the Italian winemaker who did the interview from his winery (you can hear the birds in the background). He's moving his vines up the mountain each year, looking for cooler climates.

      <content>Not so far fetched.  Last year I attended a panel discussion on global warming at a wine industry conference which included Ingo Grady of Mission Hill in the Okanagan Valley (BC, Canada).  He said, "Okanagan Valley is moving into the optimal zone for a surprising number of varieties."  However, there is still an issue with unpredictability of climate.  They're doing experiments with reverse osmosis methods for reducing alcohol to get ready.</content>
