Have been trying to get to both of these for quite sometime now, however, planning and paying for a wedding has limited my recent dinning experiences!!! We want to go to both, and we will, but which one do we go to first?

They are both really good. I want to like Topolobampo more than I really do, if that makes any sense. Frontera Grill has more familiar cuisine, prepared very well, which is why I prefer it.

Go to Frontera, and skip Topo. If you don't, you'll have wished you did. Not that Topo is bad at all, mind you. It's just that I think Frontera is a much better value than Topo. I'm also not a big fan of "pretentious," and that's what Topo came across to me as. Only went once, but that was enough. I really do like Frontera though.
