favorite Meyer lemon recipes

We have a prolific Meyer lemon tree in the backyard. I make lemonaid and freeze ice cubes of lemon juice. I even trade lemons at the Pheonix Pastaficio for fresh pasta and bread (so lucky!!!). I'm wondering what your favorite recipe with Meyers is. Thanks!

  1. If I could find them, I would use them in everything. I mention the name and people give me a blank stare. Inpossible to find in MI., but had a little luck in FL. Lucky you, a whole tree full!!!

    1. I'm really into making lemon curd with them (use a bit less sugar) and cakes. You can really taste the difference. I also love to make a variety of mediterannean dishes with meyer lemon juice -- taboulli, fatoush, med inspired potato salad, etc. all taste fab with the juice.

      1. Mediterranean preserved lemons. They add a wonderful flavor to so many dishes - they are edible gold!

        1. Meyer lemon marmalade, I don't bother going the whole canning route, just keep it in the fridge for as long as it lasts.

          My wife makes up batches of meyer lemon/ginger lemonade.

            I make as much as I can of the Meyer Lemon Marmalade (but I do go the canning route) and it is one of my most requested.

          2. Meyer lemon drops (the drink). The best lemon bars I've ever made were with the Best Recipe lemon tart recipe, using meyer lemons.

            1. There is a meyer lemon pudding cake on epicurious that is just awesome. I serve it in a wine glass w/ whipped cream flavored with a tiny bit of cloves.
