Pre theatre dinner...

I am a foodie from LA and am coming to NYC for a short visit. My husband and I are going to see Rent at the Nederlander (I know, sort of cliche but I have never seen it!!) and want a pre-show delicious dinner near the theatre. I should mention that this is happening this coming Friday night, so probably needs to be somewhere that we can get a reservation on somewhat short notice (since this is Monday...). I don't have any particular type of food in mind, except that we are going to Otto the night before, so probably not Italian. Thanks in advance!!

if you like sushi, sushi of Gari opened in the theater district and is one of the best options in that area.
