Taco truck rental for a party?

So... a while back I heard this rumor that one could "rent" out a taco truck for private events (flat rate for all the tacos you can eat) here in the Bay Area. I thought that the information was pulled from a CHOW posting (heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend) but I can't seem to find any thread of it. Can anyone confirm this?

    1. There have been questions similar to yours, with some follow-up discussion and suggestions, but as far as I know, there haven't been many definitive answers (as in, "I know Taco Truck X will do it for Y amount).

All taco trucks have contact info on them (usually on the door). If it were me, I'd call a couple of the trucks I already know and like and ask about their availability.

I wanted to add that the San Buena Truck in the Financial Dist. downtown SF will cater as well, I did not see it mentioned in the threads I posted.
My hair stylist did this a couple of years ago and she said it cost around $760.00 for 85 people or so and they had a lot of food, I thought that was pretty good and lots of fun too. You could do big batches of sangrias with fresh fruit and good mexican beers.

Awesome! Thanks for the information (and for the evidence that I'm not just manufacturing dreams)!

      2. The Sinaloa trucks (the pair at 22nd and International in Oakland) have a new
sign in their lot advertising party services. It looks like it will cost between $7.50
and $9 per person depending on how many you've got. Phone number is
(510)535-1206. The sign was there this weekend and I don't remember seeing it
before. This is all I know about it. Here's a photo of the sign:
