Ethiopian for 14

  • 2

Seeking a great Ethiopian restaurant for 14 people where the food is very good, but also where the group can sit relatively comfortably and hold a conversation without shouting. Interested in comparisons between Meskerem and Queen of Sheba. Thanks.

  1. I've never eaten at Meskerem but I have been to Queen of Sheba many times. I don't think that QoS could accomodate 14 people--at least not at one table. Others will have to weigh in about Meskerem's capacity.

For comparisons of the food, please use the "search this board"--it's been discussed many times before.

    1. I've been to Meskerem with a group of 8 and they accomodated us nicely. Besides the front room (which is where I'd only ever sat until that point) there is another room (who knew?). It wasn't as nicely decorated -- in fact it was downright bare. But it was quite large. They pulled a bunch of tables together for our group and we mostly had the whole room to ourselves (which was good 'cause we could get loud). So they'd probably do a group of 14 pretty easily. I'd say to call ahead -- that's what I did and although the person on the phone sounded clueless, it apparently got through because the table was set up for us when we arrived.
