heirloom tomatos, serrano peppers
any ideas? I have wayy too many. Roommate went crazy at farmer's market. He thought he was just getting enough for a strata, but now we have about half a pound of serranos and 3 lbs of tomatos (mostly green zebra).
With the serrano chiles, maybe you could make a variation of the recipe for the "universal condiment" discussed in this thread: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/427327
With the tomatoes, I would make a tomato and basil salad -- if you have fresh mozzarella or burrata, all the better!
