Salvador's Sicilian Grill, Jefferson GA (Hwy 129)

I just found a gem of an italian joint in a strip mall in Jefferson GA, of all places. Really casual, really cheap, and really good. The sign on the door says made from scratch, certain menu items say to get there early because when they're out, they're out. The wait staff wears uniform T-shirts, the napkins are paper, and there's a flat-screen TV in the dining room with SEC football on. Service was excellent, at one point between our entree's and dessert a guy from the kitchen (maybe Salvador Jr.?) came out and asked how everything was. There is an ambiance of pride in this place and rightfully so.
The bread and olive oil w/herbs (and parmesan which was a nice touch) was bakery-quality. The ceasar salad was excellent. The tuscan prime rib and scampi were wonderful and I'd be pretty hard to convince that the pasta wasn't made on the premisis. The tirimisu was divine and the cheesecake...oh the cheesecake. It might just deserve it's very own thread.
$44 plus tip. I can say without a doubt that we will be back. Often.
One note of caution...don't go for the wine list (think Riunite and Chateau Elan). They do have a full bar though.
