Restaurant in NYC for large group

I am looking for an affordable(less than $40 per person) restaurant in manhattan (downtown if possible) that can hold up to 20 people (without charging a set amount per head) and can also accomodate some vegetarian needs for a 25th birthday party. All food types welcome (I eat everything). Any ideas?

  1. Why don't you go to a Chinese place- matbe Congee Vllage?

    1. Korean bbq is fun for a big group. Kang Suh, on the corner of B'way & 32nd, does a good one. In addition to the meats, chicken and shrimp that you cook on the grill at the table, there is a vegetable option. And the array of little dishes of panchan are all vegetarian-friendly. They have private rooms that can accommodate a group your size. It's been a while since we've done bbq there, so I don't recall the cost though I think it was less than $40pp.
