Best burger in Manhattan?

I've heard that the Corner Bistro has the reputation of selling best burger. Anyone care to offer their thoughts about this or suggest alternatives?

    Didn't manage the Corner Bistro or Shake Shack when I was over from the Uk a few weeks ago but did enjoy a really excellent burget in the joint behind the curtain within the Parker Meridian Hotel.

      I think the burgers at Rare are amazing. They have organic burgers, and many other different types. I think the quality is the best.

      Joe Allen, 46th St. between 8th & 9th Aves. I've been going there for years & years and they have the best burger in Manhattan as far as I'm concerned.

        Always been a fan of CB, but lately have been going to BLT Burger a lot w/kids and liking it a lot. Great burgers (have not tried kobe - always have felt kobe should be eaten as tartar) - - for an interesting twist try the marguez burger - not spicy enough for me, yet still found it interesting. Also-great milkshakes!
