Alaska: Cadillac Cafe in Wasilla (N. of Anchorage)

AnneInMpls Oct 5, 2007 09:48 PM

So we were in Wasilla last week (on our way between Anchorage and Fairbanks), and a friend took us to the Cadillac Cafe in Wasilla. It was great! We never would have found it on our own - it's tucked behind a gas station, in a strip mall with a liquor store and a day care center.

It's nothing fancy, but the food is really good. They do mostly burgers, wraps, and pizza, with some really unusual ingredients. I almost ordered the halibut and cabbage burrito, but chose the Thai curried chicken wrap instead. My mom had a beef-and-spinach wrap that was delicious. They have great home-made root beer, too.

Check it out if you're in the area!
