I'm thinking of going there for my girlfriend's Birthay. It seems to fly under the radar, I have not found any discussion of the restaurant here on Chowhound. Can someone who has dined there please give me a review of their experience. Thanks !!

The space itself is beautiful townhouse and the front bar room is lovely for a drink which is what I mainy recommend. I ate dinner there once and it did not "wow" me. The portions were extremely small for the price you were paying and they were simply average at best.

My suggestion would be to go there for a drink and then head elsewhere for dinner. Casa Mono, Union Square Cafe & Gramercy Tavern are all excellent and within walking distance.

I found it very expensive for drinks and apps. Portions were indeed small, even for an appetizer. But it is a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon if you want some wine before heading to a better restaurant.
