CJ Montana's

Does anybody know when this restaurant will be open? I know it was supposed to open Oct 1 but it's not open yet. I figure the end of Oct but that is only my opinion.

Had lunch there today with 2 dining companions. While the food was fresh, it certainly wasn't very memorable. Among the items ordered were a turkey burger (pretty good but the pepperjack cheese it came with had no 'bite'). Their online menu refers to their "original" sweet potato fries (nondescript), and their "Maytag Bleu Cheese Slaw." I don't know if that's the type of slaw I received, but it didn't have even a hint of bleu cheese. The shrimp po boy and beef stew (which came in a bread bowl) were good. (BTW, the address is 560 Shrewsbury Avenue at the corner of Apple Street, Tinton Falls, NJ.)

This is the Gourmet Cafe that was located in the Tower market shopping center in Eatontown. Now they will hava a liquor license.

I'm not familiar with CJ Montana's. Since this board encompasses several states, it would be helpful to know exactly where it's located.

Hey, vtt7, Since there is a very active group of Central NJ Hounds here, I agree that it is easy to forget that. :-) As you know, we've continuously pleaded with the powers-that-be to stop splitting NJ between this board and the Tri-State and give all NJ Hounds a board of our own. Unhappily, so far, no dice! :-( :-( :-(

Their website says Oct. 9th. Drove by yesterday it says Oct 12th in the windows.
