Where to eat Boothbay and Bar Harbor

bosun Oct 4, 2007 10:54 AM

One of my co-workers is going up to ME and I told her I would post here to see if anyone could give her some good tips.
She did not give any food preferences, just places to eat (breakfast, lunch, dinner) that won't break the bank. Thanks in advance!

There are many threads in recent months. Here are a few. Only caution is some of these places are seasonal and will be closed after Oct. X.

the Robinhood Meetinghouse in Georgetown, just south on the coast..We really like LeGarage for an informal but consistently great meal in Wiscasset. We also really like the Back Street Bistro in Brunswick, a little further south and the Kenebec Tavern in Bath for some good pub food. jim

We enjoy Andrew's Harborside in Boothbay Harbor, and the SeaBasket in Wiscasset....but I think they are just spring/summer places and may have closed for the season by now.
Thistle Inn in boothbay is another fave rave.
