Best food city to visit within 90 minute from TO

I know this will spark controversy but here goes.

I am taking my significant other for a long weekend trip. We want to visit a city with great food. We want to fly somewhere but dont want it to be more than a 90 minute flight so we dont chew up too much time flying.

The purpose of the trip is to sample the food of a great city--at the both the high end and the low end.

Suggestions please?

Oh man, NY would be the obvious answer but I would say Chicago for sure. Great restaurants, truly amazing Mexican food, and some stunning architecture to look at while you're walking it off.

I like Chicago. My reason for suggesting Chicago is that I am a big fan of the "concepts" of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (www.leye.com). They are not a multi unit "chain" but rather a collection of unique concepts under one umbrella (think Oliver Bonacini but significantly better and much more diverse). I have been to five or six of them and an old favourite, Scoozi, has been around for 20 years.

Looking forward to seeing the responses of others on this interesting post.
