Along 826 between Miami Lakes & SW 8th St.

ok, this may sound odd, but here goes.

she's coming north from kendall
i'm travelling south from broward.

we've agreed to meet along 826 somewhere.
neither of us know any neighborhoods.
neither of us want to get lost.

can anyone suggest a decent restaurant where two people can sit together and talk for a couple of hours and eat good chow, along 826 from say......

miami lakes to SW 8th street.
how's that?
easy on, easy off for both of us.
greek, chinese, thai, american, latin.
fresh is excellent
seafood, chicken is a plus!

thanks everyone!

  1. I'm also assuming you want casual and affordable restaurants, not only decent. Right now I can only think of two off the top of my head, but I know there's a huge plethora of options. Of the two, the Cuban/Venezuelan restaurant is nicer, but both are decent, nice looking and clean establishments.

Pollo Brasa & Sazon - the name says chicken, but their regular churrasco is also really good.

    1. NW 67th Ave and the Palmetto in the Burger King Plaza is the Sicilian Italian Restaurant. Excellent food, but it is a hole in the wall. If you are looking for atmosphere (or romance) this isn't it. If you are looking for real Italian food cooked by a Sicilian from Sicily check it out. Also, if you go one exit further south on the Palmetto (not sure of the exit name) you can go to Cancun Grill for Mexican. You will battle the crowds there especially on a weekend night. Very good tex-mex if you are into that kinda thing. Good luck! Let us know where you go.
