Amy's v. Billy's for Cake

I have been assigned the duty of picking up a cake for an office going away party. From my research, Amy's Bread and Billy's Bakery have both received high praise for their cakes. Of the two, which is better...and what in particular is noteworthy? I'm thinking maybe a simple vanilla cake and chocolate icing. Although, the black and white cake at Amy's is tempting. Suggestions appreciated!

FYI...the cake was FANTASTIC and a hit with everyone at the office (which is difficult). We had the chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. The cake was nice and moist and the buttercream light, creamy, and not too sweet. Thanks for the advice!

I'd go with Amy's every time, with one exception: Billy's makes the best banana cake in town.

Billy's, for sure! I've found Amy's to be on the drier side.
