Haitian food recs ?

There is a new Haitian restaurant on the Danforth called Cadet's. It's between Woodbine and Main. Not sure what to try there as I've never had Haitian food. I did have a chicken, rice and peas special one night that was pretty good.

The best thing to get is Griot - its deep fried pork shoulder. You'll never have anything tastier and i'm not a pork eater. Also, the rice & peas have a different taste when Haitians make it..and the coleslaw is really spicy. Haitian food, in my opinion, is the best of all the caribbean. I'm so glad to hear they brought back a Haitian place in Toronto !!
