I was trying to find out where the finale was ever since I knew they were revealing the winner in Chicago! I hope to see them around town for the taping of season 4 because I'm from Chicago!

On TV? It's tomorrow night - 10/3 at 10pm EDT. The "live reveal" will happen in Chicago tomorrow - I'm sure in either the new Top Chef kitchen, if it's built, or some studio - perhaps Harpo Studios?

The way things are teased there's supposed to be a surprise in regards to the teams, at least that's what I'm seeing in the promos.

Do you think it's the Season 4 contestants being the sous chefs for the 3 finalist?

I haven't watched anything on Bravo since last week's show, so haven't seen any of the teaser promos - but THAT would be a GREAT twist if they did that! LOL

If I'm not mistaken, I was watching Sara M's goodbye video on Bravotv.com and she mentioned that each of the 3 finalist gets to choose a sous chef from the chef's that have been eliminated and she felt pretty strongly that she would be asked back. Bravo has not given much out on their TV promos. I can't wait for tonite's finale!!! Go Casey!!!

That's what usually happens - they get two or three sous/line chefs to help out in the finale from those who were told to pack their knives on their season. But if they bring in Season 4 cheftestants, now THAT could be interesting with no preconceived knowledge of how they can cook (or not).

From what I have read, the "live reveal" is going to be the judges table for the current season. Since this is being used as a tie-in and promotion for season 4, I wouldn't be surprised if they shoot it at someplace that is easily recognizable as Chicago. My three guesses are the observation deck at the Sears Tower, the Shedd Aquarium and Buckingham Fountain.
