Has anyone been there recently?...comments on cocktails/wine and specific dishes - great, good or mediocre..and how's the service?..

My husband and I have eaten at Simmer Grille several times, we like that fact that it's "off the beaten" path of West Hartford Center. We've never been disappointed with the food or service. Our favorite appetizer is the Two Ways Tuna, and we usually order the daily specials for entrees; although my husband did have a perfectly prepared New York strip steak on our last visit. The wine list is not terribly adventurous, and they do have a nice beer and martini selection.
