Fried Oreos in Chitown

Does anyone know any place I can find these?

I live in the DC area and have been searching for them forever, but cannot find them. Whenever I go to someplace new, I always try to find them. I am visiting Chicago next week and would love it if somebody could give me tips! :)

I've never heard of them. Are they whay they sound like, oreo cookies battered and deep fried? I'm intrigued, but I have no suggestions.

If you would like other sinful oreo dessert options the oreo milkshakes at Homers (in the burbs, so not easy for visitors without a car) are fantastic.

Also, at Cereality, you can have them add oreos to your breakfast cereal, hot cereal or yogurt parfaits. I'm partial to oatmeal with nutella, bananas, dried cranberries and oreos on top - sounds like overkill, but once in a while it really hits the spot.

Cereality closed their Evanston location, and no longer has any in the Chicago area.

(I've never heard of fried Oreos, either...)

They always have them at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis, WI (just outside of Milwaukee), but that takes place in August. If you come across any fairs or carnivals, you just may hit the jackpot ;)
