Where's STANLEY?

OK, all you chow's in the know---has Stanley re-opened and if so--does anyone have anything to share about the experience? Putting the finishing touches on our October 6th arrival--and have friends who say-Stanley, if as good as "he once was" is a must do!!!

Don't hold your breath. The last word recently from Scott Boswell is that the lease negotiations continue. One of his chefs has said maybe January '08.

I spoke with sous chef Erik Veney, and he said the lease is signed and they will likely open in January.

Second that, word from the Boswell camp yesterday says they'll be going hard this Winter to prepare for an early '08 opening. They've got some big things planned, it'll definitely be super to have them back.
