Vegetarian Buffalo Wings

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is a restaurant that serves vegetarian buffalo wings? I have a serious jones for them and the frozen ones from Whole Foods just doesn't cut it.

I've added photos of the wings I wrote about in an earlier reply. I but them at the Silom Supermarket in Thaitown. They're $21.95 for three pounds. They are so similar in taste and appearance to wings sold at Newsroom, Bulan and Green Leaves that I can't imagine they're not the same brand.

Veggie Grill (multiple locations) has some, but I haven't tried them. Please report back!... Curious to see which place 'reigns supreme'.

I know how you feel! I must warn you though once you try these wings you WILL get cravings for them, I do all the time!!

Yard House has the best veggie (gardein) wings ever!! sooo tasty and they have multiple locations to get your wing fix.

They apparently have not only veggie buffalo wings but two other veggie styles as well:

GRILLED JERK WINGS
served with rum bbq sauce
traditional • boneless • veggie

BUFFALO WINGS
tossed in a buffalo sauce with ranch
traditional • boneless • veggie

FIRECRACKER WINGS
tossed in a spicy sesame garlic plum glaze
garnished with green onions

Wait, Yard House sells Gardein wings????? Holy crap, that makes them VEGAN (unless they screw up the sauce or dip in egg batter or something like that).

I'm so going to check t his one out.

Veggie Grill's wings also start out with the Gardein product, but they probably spice them differently.

well if i'm not mistaken wings are naturally tossed with butter then the sauce i haven't asked them yet but i should.. or you should i'm starting my journey to veganism.. but yeah and they serve them with ranch.. but they are just tasty on there own =)

The Thai grocery store on Hollywood in Thaitown sells soy chicken wings. A stick replaces the "wing". I'd guess they're the same used at Newsroom, which I love. Just add your own sauce!
