Buffalo Cafe

Major_9000 Sep 29, 2007 08:45 PM

Just needed to say that I had breakfast for the first time at the Buffalo Cafe, near Eau Claire and beside the Barley Mill and it was fantastic.

My wife and I decided to go for a walk at Prince's Island Park and thought we'd have brunch at the River Cafe this morning (which is also fabulous). However, after we parked we saw the Buffalo Cafe and thought we'd give it a shot. Wow were we suprised. We had basic eggs over easy, toast, bacon, home fires and grilled tomatoes but it was all awesome. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was the best I've had for breakfast in a very long time. My coffee was never, never empty (which I always use to judge a great waiting staff) and the waitress was quick, courteous and was working very hard.

The menu had lots of fun things on it but we were in the mood for the basics. Total cost with the extra sides of grilled tomato and my wifes Cappuccino totalled $30 with tax. I highly recommend and we'll be going back soon.

No problem... I concur with your review. One of the better Calgary breakfast places.
