PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT A GOOD AFTERNOON TEA IN PHILLY...
PLEASE MENTION WHAT IS INCLUDED, HOW MUCH COST AND WHERE.
THANK YOU EVERYONE.
T-Bar, 117 S. 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA
Consider the Hotel duPont in Wilmington if you want to drive half hour. Less expensive, beautifully elegant room , traditionally impressive.
THAT SOUNDS LIKE EXCELLENT CHOICES THANK YOU FOR MENTION IT.
I've been to the Cassat Tea Room in the Rittenhouse. It was lovely. The tea selection was great. The tea sandwiches and desserts left nothing to be desired. I recommend it.
I've had tea at the Ritz and it was lovely. I don't remember the cost, but it was about 6 ladies and we sat in couches in the large lobby. We had the full tea (sweets and sandwiches).
I second the Ritz. I think it was around $30 a person- but i may be wrong and it was delicous sandwiches, teas and pastries- I was stuffed when I left.
The Rittenhouse Hotel does a high tea in the Mary Cassat room in the afternoon. I haven't been myself, but have heard good things about it.
The Four Seasons has a lovely tea. You can find the details on their website.
That looks like an excelent idea thank you for mention it...
