Where can I find the best applesauce in the city?

I love applesauce. Its my favorite. Where can I find the best?

    Can't swear its the best, but Fairway's deli case always has a "homemade applesauce" that is good. Some might find it a tad sweet, but its a matter of taste. Its 3.99 a pound so not a big investment to try.

      Since apples are re-appearing at the greenmarkets, check out the fresh stuff at UnionSq this weekend. I'm sure it's there.
