Been disappointed every time I've tried the place, really wanted to like it. A decent variety on the menu, but everything I've ordered (shrimp, fish of various kinds) tasted more of the freezer than of the sea. Chowder wasn't bad.

Pity. It looks so cute.

Is there anyplace in the area you can get cheap, good and fresh seafood?
I've been craving a lobster roll, like the ones I used to have in Montauk.

Well, looks like JT's is no more.
Passed by the other day and there's a place called, Hot Diggity Dogs, in the same spot.
Don't think I'll be going there.

Actually, I just read something praising Hot Diggity: supposed to have great dogs, burgers, and fish fry. I plan to check it out.

Dietary restrictions prohibit me from eating hot dogs and fried food.

I actually crave hot dogs from time to time. Guess it's all those great memories of Nathan's in Coney Island.
