Sunday Breakfast/Brunch Rec Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu

Looking for a low-key place to eat a really good breakfast Sunday post-hike in Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu or really west West LA. Good eggs/hashbrowns and/or pancakes are a plus, as is a good cup of coffee. I never know where to go around there and always end up driving back to the stretch of places on 3rd street (Joans, Toast, etc.) starving.

Is Patrick's Roadhouse still open?

They are doing some sort of construction around there.

Cora's is a good rec (see above).It's nice inside and the food is good.

I'm also a big Snug Harbor fan. It's a coffee shop, really, with food food of the eggs, hash browns, pancake variety. I don't read too much about Snug Harbor on this board ... but it's popular with locals.

This thread could get long, there are lots of places to eat a good breakfast in Santa Monica.

Well, Patrick's is a good choice. It's definitely in the Santa Monica/Pali go for a hike neighborhood and the food is solid, roadhouse fare. Good potatoes, IIRC ...
