Vegetable Juice bar

  • d

emI don't know why, but I'm on a vegetable juice kick. really enjoying my home made cucumber juice. If I get lazy, where are some good places to go for beet, carrot, celery, cucumber, that kinda thing? Not fruit, but veggie.

And I DON'T mean Roebeck's or that other awful chain place.

  1. I think that Newsroom Cafe should fill that need, though I've never had anything from their juice selection so I can't say for sure.

    1. You didn't request any specific location, so I am going to suggest the closest one I can think of to me:

One Life Natural Foods in Santa Monica, on Main Street.
A very granola-y market with a juice bar in the back that does veggies galore.

      3001 Main St
      310.392.4501

      1. I'm sure I am not gonna spell it right but here I go: Ehrewon on Beverly, just east of Fairfax.
I LOVE their juices. They have a Green Giant (I usually will get a shot of ginger added to it) which had parlsey, spinach, carrots, wheat grass, and celery.
I also like to get a combo of Carrot, Apple Ginger, and Beet...Yummy!
They'll do whatever mixture you like.
        Oh, and it's all ORGANIC!
        Enjoy!

          Erewhon
          http://www.erewhonmarket.com

One of the more annoying names around. It is ALMOST the word nowhere spelled backwards, but it isn't. Decent enough store, but I hate that name.

I believe that Erewhon's juices come from the Beverly Hills Juice Club (www.beverlyhillsjuice.com) which has a location on Beverly Blvd.

I like the sound of the hot tomato tonic!

Actually, I'm talking about the juice that they "juice" right ther the moment you order it.
I've never ordered anything bottled or packaged from any company.I like to watch my stuff get pulverized on the spot.
                YUM!

            2. Thanks for the lead so far, guys!

              1. Diana, like you, I am a huge fan of vegetable juice, but I never make it myself (not having the equipment), so I always get it at one of the following three places:
                1. Wild Oats in Santa Monica (I go to the Wilshire one, but I assume the Montana location would have it as well)
                2. Rainbow Acres on Admiralty in the Marina (post office--CPK--Ralph's complex)
                3. Leaf Cuisine on Washington in Culver City (but Valley and WeHo locations must have it, too)
I don't know what temperature you like to drink vegetable juice, but Leaf's is room temperature (maybe connected to raw foods manifesto???), while the others are cooler.

Wild Oats Market in Pasadena (on Lake Ave. and California) also does fresh veggie juices, such as carrot and celery. :)
