I've done some searching on this board because I know I've read something about Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Bistro in Napa - I can't seem to come up with anything. Does anyone have any recent experience there?

I was looking for a place for a bite before we go to the Lincoln Theater Saturday. I thought this might be a possibility - other choice might be Zuzu - small plates and close. Some recent posts look good and the menu is intersting.

I've tried to find a menu on-line for NV but no luck so far. Does anyone have more info or know of an on-line source for it (I've Googled, Open Tabled, etc.)

Further info: 6 of us, don't want to spend $100 per person (this time) and will eat pretty much anything. We sometimes like to bring our own wine if it makes sense, corkage-wise.

TIA for any info...

i've been to all three recently, and i'd go back to zuzu first. the only issue may be that with six people, the small plates seem very small (best to double order everything)...

Since you want "a bite" skip nv. It would be wasted on a before-theatre dinner. But definitely try it sometime - don't think they have a web site for menus. Bounty Hunter and Zuzu would both fit your bill. I like Bounty Hunter despite how expensive and frankly ordinary most of the food is - okay the pulled pork sandwiches and pickles are really awesome, but I had a house-smoked turkey sandwich recently for lunch that was bland and dry (turkey and bread) and $10 - ugh. I just like being in there though, because it feels clubby. Zuzu is a lot of fun too.

I should have been more descriptive about what we're doing - we'd like to have a nice dinner Thurs. evening; only 4 of us - maybe NV would be more appropriate for that dinner. Or maybe Angele? I've spent quite a bit of time today looking at web sites & menus for Angele, ZinsValley and Cole's and they all sound good. I guess I'll have to try calling NV and see if they can FAX me a menu... Thanks for the input and I'll post about which places we try.

Hi, where'd you end up?

I've been hearing downhill reports on Bounty Hunter.

Here's a link to my post on dinner at n.v. last month.
