There was discussion a while ago about buying fresh mozz in the area... for some reason Chowhound is not letting me reply in that thread, so apologies for the new one.

Despite discussion as to what 'real' mozz is (what exactly it means to be fresh, etc) I, for one, am a huge fan of Lourdes' cheese from Fiore di Nonno. And it turns out she is supplying the cheese for a Slow Food event this Saturday! They're throwing a veggie harvest pizza party at Land's Sake Farm - grilled pizza by Stone Hearth, the cheese and fresh picked veggies from the field.

yum - as much as I love vegetable in season and the harvest and all that, smother it all in cheese & grill it and I love them all the more!
