Best chicharron tacos?

I like the crunchy kind, not the stewed kind please! Pref as west as possible, I love in MDR. Thank you!

    I'm glad you love in MDR but I gather you live in Los Angeles and for what you are looking for you may need to make the trip out to El Mercado in East Los Angeles. Just think of yourself as going to the mountain because the mountain aint going to come to you.

        Chicharron is pork skin, crunchy fried and sometimes stewed in reddish sauce.

        La Playita has crunchy chicharron tacos.

          Thanks. I figured that's what chicharron was, but I can't believe they throw it into a crunchy taco. Wow!

            I've Never seen them just thrown crunchy into tacos. I've always seen them stewed with either Roja or verde sauce. The best verde sauce I've had was at grand Central market downtown LA

              Now that you mention it, I vote that crunchy chicharrones be available as a topping right next to the diced onions and salsa.
