Earle's Grill
After eating here http://www.chowhound.com/topics/445096 yesterday I drove passed this place called Earle's Grill at 4326 Crenshaw Blvd. I went today for lunch. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations so they are serving a limited menu from the sidewalk. The temp menu consists of grilled beef dogs, chicken dogs, veggie dogs and fritos w/chili. I have heard that they have really good sandwiches but they are not on the menu until renovation is complete in two weeks.
I had the chicken dog which is grilled and split in half served with relish, ketchup, mustard and onions (grilled or raw) plus I had the fritos with chili. The dog was nicely grilled with a snap on the bite. A lot of people were ordering the veggie dogs with veggie chili.
It's right near lamert park, which is a really cool neighborhood with interesting stores. Check this place out if you like hot dogs.

I saw an add about this restaurant in last weeks issue of LA WEEKLY. The veggie dogs and veggie chili are excellent there. I also tried there breakfast menu not too long ago and that was actually the first time i had veggie sausage! Anyways, Earle'z Grille is definitely doing more than most restaurants by giving vegans like me more options.
