B&B in Muskoka region with great food??

  • 3

Looking for a B&B in Muskoka region for a romantic getaway. Anyone has any great suggestion for a B&B that provides great food? or great restaurants near by? Hopefully the B&B is located near tons of trails.

  1. Suggest you look up www.bbmuskoka.com and choose to your liking. I know of a couple so here goes:
Muskoka Riverloft - in Bracebridge - on the river - lovely location - private suite - kayaking, hiking etc. 5 minutes to downtown - dinner at Riverwalk - best restaurant in town - expensive
Lynch's or Castaways in Gravenhurst - both can direct you to trails....both accessible to newest fine dining restaurant "North" - excellent
one trail suggestion...Hardy Lake - just 15 minutes outside of Gravenhurst

if you go to Muskoka make sure to go to Rebecca's for dinner. But book in advance, you might struggle to get a reservation. It is approx 5 km west of Port Carling. Arrowon Pines (Algonquin) is equally amazing for food, as is Inn at Manitou. There are some B and B's in the town of Rosseau that offer close proximity to the towns of Hunstville, Bracebridge, Perry Sound and Port Carling, sorry not sure of their names!

I'm thinking the Huntsville area and i've narrowed down to Secluded, Muskoka Mist, and Gingerbread B&B. Have you guys heard anything about these 3? and are there any not to be missed restaurants @ Huntsville?
