Molyvos..any feedback?

Hi,

I went to Molyvos a number of years ago and thought it was great. Thinking about going again for dinner after a matinee. Haven't heard much about it recently.

Has anybody been? Would love to get some reviews.

If you don't mind a little travelling, try the Turkish Kitchen on Third Avenue at about 28th street. It is sublime!

If I'm not mistaken - the cuisine the OP mentioned above is Greek. I'd additionally suggest Astoria for cheap and good Greek cuisine. The outer borough boards always have a ton of recs for Greek places...

Agreed. I went to Molyvos a couple times last summer for lunch and I thought the food was heavy and oily. I can't speak to Pylos

It's on East 7th and Avenue A. It's delicious. Two of us put away three appetizers and two entrees, clearing every plate.
